Seismic survey and geological exploration

3D Seismic

Approximately 60 Square Miles of Proprietary Data

Barrow Heritage Ranch, LP owns proprietary 3D seismic data covering portions of its Chambers County mineral position — a significant resource for evaluating exploration and development opportunities.

Proprietary Asset

A Distinctive Mineral Asset

Among the most valuable assets held by Barrow Heritage Ranch, LP is its ownership of approximately 60 square miles of proprietary 3D seismic data covering portions of its mineral position in Chambers County, Texas. This data was acquired through the partnership's own investment and represents a level of subsurface insight that is uncommon among private mineral owners.

Three-dimensional seismic data provides a detailed image of subsurface geological structures that cannot be obtained from well logs, surface geology, or two-dimensional seismic surveys alone. By recording and processing the reflections of acoustic energy through the earth, 3D seismic surveys generate a volumetric picture of the subsurface that allows geoscientists to identify structural traps, stratigraphic features, and other geological conditions relevant to oil and gas exploration and development.

For a mineral owner, proprietary 3D seismic data represents a significant competitive advantage. It enables informed evaluation of the mineral position, supports productive discussions with prospective operators, and contributes to the identification of development opportunities that might otherwise remain unrecognized.

Why It Matters

The Value of Seismic Imaging

Structural Evaluation

3D seismic data allows geoscientists to map subsurface structural features — anticlines, faults, and other traps — that may concentrate hydrocarbons and represent drilling targets.

Stratigraphic Analysis

Beyond structural mapping, 3D seismic data supports analysis of stratigraphic features — changes in rock type, porosity, and fluid content — that influence the distribution and recoverability of oil and gas.

Risk Reduction

By providing a more complete picture of the subsurface before drilling, 3D seismic data helps operators and mineral owners evaluate the risk and potential of specific drilling locations, supporting more informed investment decisions.

Development Planning

For fields with established production, 3D seismic data supports the planning of infill drilling, workover programs, and enhanced recovery operations by illuminating the geometry and extent of producing formations.

Prospective Potential

Identified Prospective Potential

Based on the partnership's evaluation of its proprietary 3D seismic data, Barrow Heritage Ranch, LP has identified approximately 50 million barrels of aggregate prospective oil potential across multiple prospects within its mineral position, together with approximately 100 Bcf of identified natural-gas potential.

These figures represent company-provided estimates of prospective potential across multiple identified prospects. They are not proved reserves, probable reserves, or possible reserves as defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission or any other regulatory body, and they are not certified by an independent reserve engineer. They represent the partnership's internal assessment of the aggregate potential of identified prospects based on available geological and seismic data, and actual recoverable volumes, if any, may differ materially from these estimates.

The identification of this prospective potential reflects the value of the partnership's seismic investment and the productive geological setting of its Chambers County mineral position. It also underscores the importance of the seismic data as a resource for prospective operators evaluating the acreage.

Industry Access

Access for Qualified Industry Participants

Barrow Heritage Ranch, LP makes its proprietary 3D seismic data available to qualified industry participants on a negotiated fee basis. Access is limited to established operators, independent producers, and their technical representatives with demonstrated experience in the evaluation and development of oil and gas prospects.

Inquiries regarding seismic data access should be directed to Rob McDonald, Partner. The partnership will consider requests from qualified participants and will negotiate access terms on a case-by-case basis. Prospective participants should be prepared to describe their technical capabilities, their interest in the Chambers County area, and their intended use of the data.
